North Carolina: One of the fastest growing States. Lake Mead and the surrounding area are becoming a popular tourist destination along with the Eastern coastline and the barrier islands (Nag`s Head). Great scenery on the Blue Ridge Parkway, in the western region of the state, to a popular biking area at Fletcher Creek which is close to Asheville.
Driving I77 thru the rolling hills near Charlotte is quite different compared to I95 in the east where it is normally quite flat.
