Drive Interstate 77 Virginia

Virginia has much to offer, Mountains, bike paths and major rivers. Also the Blue Ridge parkway crosses I77, and if you have the time, it is a great road to travel as it travels along the ridge of the Virginia mountains. for miles upon miles. It however is much slower than the interstate.

John`s Recollections - 2009 Virginia is in the mountain ranges and this Interstate stretches from the Interstate tunnel at Walker mountain to where you decend into North Carolina onto the plains. One of my favorite scenes is still the decent from Virginia into the flat lands of North Carolina. Within a few miles you travel down over a thousand feet, yet still remember those great tunnels thru the Virginia Mountains.
