Mackinac Island Ferry Trip - Michigan

Ferry ride across from St. Ignace is about half and hour but the time passes quickly as the plume of water rising behind the Catamaran and the viewing of the intended destination are also part of the trip

John's Trip Comments WAKE UP EARLY, go to the ferry docks and let your hair fly backward as the cataraman makes its journey to the island. As sunset dims take the journey back and watch the sun dissapear into the horizon with the Macinac Bridge in the background.

John`s Recollections - 2009

There are times when I still dream of the air flowing thru my hair on the way to the island and remembering the Grand Hotel as we neared our destination. The catamaran trip was in itself a great experience especially as we returned into a sunset with the Macinac Bridge in the background.
