Visit Dunedin with us, my favorite town in North America, warm in the winter months with many weekend activities. One is able to walk the entire town in under an hour, visit many of the business establishments and still feel that you are someplace that can be called "home".

The main
downtown area encompasses a very small area, yet provides unique shopping venues and restaurants not found in most towns. Antiques and art shops provide most of the establlishments. Two parks, the one beside the intercoastal waterway and one in the downtown area, are used extensively for town functions, like the weekly winter marketplace or XMAS celebrations. The area on Victoria Street is made up mostly of historic homes that have direct views of the intercoastal, making it a favorite for many walkers. In the northern section ( actually only several hundred yards ) on Skinner where it meets the Pinnelas Trail there is an excellent barbeque chicken roadside venue where customers line up during the weekend hours that it is open. The eastern entrance to town funtions gives one an indication of what is to come. On the western side of town, on the town wharf beside the marina, you will always be able to visit the pelicans and even at times feed them from your hand.
Two excellent bike/walking trails disect the town, one being the Pinellas Trail and the other along the intercoastal waterway . Both are must visits, my favorite being the intercoastal path as it is shorter ( 2 miles ) with excellent scenery.
