Our (Kathy & John) two month visit took place in the January thru February time frame. Could not have picked a better spot temperature wise, as mid-eighties were the rule during the day, followed by low seventies in the evening. My good BASEBALL travelling buddy Larry joined us for this super sun-filled vacation. A major attraction in the area is a visit to El Faro , a lighthouse on top of a small island at the entrance to the harbor. Prior to visiting review our specific writeup. The beach is just a great place to relax, bargain with the vendors or swim in the ocean. To spend some time in the evening visit one of many activities available in the area.

Move Cursor, over underlined items for picture and links Mazatlan , Mexico was a great winter vacation, however getting there and back took different paths. The bus ride from San Antonio (Kathy & John) seemed like a great trip to see some sights along the way. The Sierra Madres however, was an obstacle to a smooth unassuming ride. This will be rembered forever, as the excitement level was at it`s highest. On the return trip Larry took the train ride to Copper Canyon allowing for another picture gallery highlight.
