We found this place to be more than satisfactory for us, especially as we were there for a long term visit.
It was quite close to all that Panama City has to offer, yet
very pleasant just to enjoy the warmth and sunshine. Some interesting spots to visit close by
were; two large shopping malls, grocery store's (all major chains), many casino`s, business district, many restaurants and of course the Panamanians
themselves. It became quite easy however, to take the taxi rather than walking. In most instances a taxi ride may be
two dollars and sometimes up to double that for 4-8 miles. Quite inexpensive, but one should know or be able to provide
directions as all drivers are not conversant in English. While there were many great restaurants where one could have a great meal under $50 for two with a bottle of
super Argentina wine, there were also many smaller restaurants where you could have inexpensive dining with a beer for much
less than $10. We tried both many times.
