Casco Viejo - Shopping Panama City, Panama

Shopping on Central Avenue in Casco Viejo is quite the experience. The street is normally closed to traffic and stalls are set up everwhere. Everything imaginable is sold with some products even advertised for under a dollar. This is an experience that you should not miss and it is shared by many others including those from Cruise ships. If crowds are not to your liking, then traffic during the week is not as hectic as the weekends.

John`s Recollections - 2009 Would need to make this a more often visit to make shopping the prime objective. Must admit, that I was more an observer, but my better half seemed to enjoy the experience, as there were many items brought home. OH well, maybe next time, I will see what I can find.
