When you think of Panama first off, the first thoughts are usually of a third world country where you might be
fortunate enough to buy a pair of shoes. What a shock, as shopping in Panama is much better than expected. There are world class stores & shopping centres
and there are also stores where bargains can be had. A very pleasant surprise from what I expected. There are several major shopping centres but one
that became quite comfortable was Albrook Mall where there were over 150 individual stores that had for the most part the same products
that we have at home. My wife (the shopper in our family) however found hats (for $1.99) and bras (for 99 cents). Apparently these prices
are quite good compared to at home.
