Santa Clara, Panama - Lodging Restaurant

This restaurant looked like and gave the feel that you were really in a different world or country. Besides that the food was more than adequate and most likely the seafood was caught no more than a mile from here. Was more than terrific being able to sit in this open air restaurant with the breeze moderating the temperature, while thinking how different this was from a cosmopolitan environment.

John`s Recollections - 2009 Just remember having one great fish dinner here and was very impressed by the atmosphere. Open air with a thatch roof did not cause any problem as bugs were not evident during our stay. Was not overly busy, yet entertainment was provided that had a very definite Panamanian sound. Early morning coffee was available for watching the native Panamainians harvest their fish catch. The hammocks & gazebos on the beach in front of the restaurant made it quite easy to lay back and have refreshments provided when needed.
