Beaches along Florida`s Gulf of Mexico coastline are rather good with white sand and gentle waves.

John`s Recollections - 2010 Life is a beach with white sand and gentle waves. Here that is true with only one exception for rough waters during our winter stay. Even the sandy shores changed daily with the wave action, and that made the daily walk all the more interesting. The Gulf waters at many times also were full of water life including porpoises, rays and many types of fish and water birds.
