“Two Friends' Travels” is the host of two-friends-travel.com which is a personal travel experience web site presenting the travels and observations of two now retired baseball fans, lucky enough to have done extensive travel within North America. Who would visit the website?

Current statistics show over 100,000 visits a month and growing. As we continue to enhance the content we are attracting a wider segment of the travelling public and baseball fans alike. People want information about intended destinations and our personal views are well received. Other people may not be able to take such trips and just enjoy the "trip" as WE experienced it.

What are the plans to grow the website?

There are still a lot of places to see and we do want to visit each state and province. This will allow us to add “personal” comments to that page, include more video and pictures. The Baseball web-site ( www.fans-of-mlb.com ) will soon require an update to include an upcoming trip to complete a goal of attending a home game for every major league team. Thirty down, one to go (Washington, DC). As part of this trip we will also do return visits to several teams to see their new ballparks and update our site. This will also add more personal travel insights to several states. A very recent change has been to rename the web site to www.two-friends-travels.com

Why would anyone advertise on our website?

Your association with the site puts your company name with logo & link in front of a steadily growing numbers of visitors and you become part of a fun and informative resource. We feel that web advertising is an inexpensive means of directly targeting travellers as opposed to placing ads in newspapers all across the country.

What would a sponsor receive for their money?

What would this advertising cost?

We feel that the amount of advertising displayed should initially be value priced and once we determine what information you want to display, on what pages and for how long a term, we would be pleased to provide a quote. Rates become cheaper as the quantity of pages increases, and we share our labour savings gained from longer term agreements. Fees are payable in advance of the implementation of the advertising. If a yearly commitment is chosen, a renewal notice will be sent 60 days in advance of the end of the term

Can I cancel my advertising?

You can cancel with 30 days advance notice. Unused funds, calculated from the end of the notice period, will be promptly returned.

How do I sign up?

Click on “Advertising Request Form” , complete the form and use the e-mail feature to give us your advertising needs. We will respond with a quote for your review. Once all details are satisfactory just print off the final quote document, have it signed by an authorized individual at your company, attach your remittance and mail it to us at the address provided in the quote. We commit to having your advertising in place at the earliest possible time and will only cash your cheque and start your clock running when the advertising is in place.

What if a change is required to the sponsor information displayed?

Again, Click on “Advertising Change Form” to request a quote for changes to your display content.

Are there any additional Costs?

Regrettably, we assess late charges for overdue accounts at 1.5% per month plus an administration charge of $15. Any account more than 30 days delinquent will have their advertising removed from the website. A fee, in advance, will apply to reinstate the advertisement to help defray the programming costs.
