Arizona - Apache Junction Drive

Where is that stagecoach?
This drive when taken was an unforgetable experience. Thru a desert like landscape past very large cactii and even smaller brightly colored plants, and then a sudden drop to the floor of a canyon carved into a relatively flat landscape. Here the road took on the feeling that after the next curve we would be sure to meet an ongoing stagecoach with the drivers using their whips to hurry along the horses. The vegatation also changed to more vivid greens with normal size trees, as water flowed by the road in small streams.
Bring your camera if you travel this road. Some of my favorite pictures were taken here.
Travelling on routes not normally taken, provide years of memories that can be shared with others. This is why Travel to me is so important, as one has the opportunity to experience new horizons. You actually do retain those thoughts & questions that will never be erased.
