Driving from Petrified Forest to Tuscon, Arizona

Varied terrain, although crossing the river divide does give one the ups and downs

John's Comments Drive took place Sept 25-26, 2004 from 4:00 pm on the 25th to about 2:00 pm on the 26th. Pleasant drive north-south thru the middle of Arizona even though at most times it is not a divided. The northern portion was mountainous but as Tuscon approached the land became more flat.
