John`s Recollections - 2009

You appear to be entering another world as you descend into the valley. The heat and humidity are both quite high. It is not difficult to see why this particular region in called `Death Valley`. One thing for sure, it sure was hot the day we drove thru the valley floor. The colors of the hills close to the valley floor are unlike what you would normally see, which gives you a very unsurreal feeling.
