John's Trip Comments Really enjoyable drive here. Going from the Pacific coast, inland to see the magestic redwoods, then back to the coast thru very hilly terrain. After driving along the coast, then back inland towards the northern wine valleys in California. A very complete day, with many stops along the way.
John`s Recollections - 2009

Rugged coastline in California`s North. Several times we had to go inland and then return to coast. Very windy roads in both this area and then the drive back to the wineries. Still was quite scenic in locations but many may not like the drive with so many curves. Certainly not for everyone but I rather enjoyed it.
