Winding road with elevation increases travelling thru the foothills to the Rocky Mountains. It is quite the sight to be able to see the Rockies in the distance, although at times it is not alsways available as the foothills can also obstruct upcoming scenery.
| John's Comments | Although there was a misty rain in the air the Rockies could be seen in the distance and the foothills provided adequate scenery. Estes Park closer to the Rocky Mountain National Park is a very scenic town and is a great place to stay if touring the area. |
