| John's Comments | The Cog Railway trip up and down was very memorable and I would not hesitate on returning for another trip. They apparently even run when there is snow on the tracks. The railway trip to over 14,000 feet was an experience in itself and to me was much easier than driving as one can concentrate on the scenery. Now, we had lady luck on our side and had front row seats where every inch of movement was before us. A fantastic ride that played before our eyes as the cog train rose slowly to the summit. One could drive, however, but being able to view every moment was worth the cost. View our trip down from Pike's Peak as that first drop down was an experience in itself. |
