Florida: Other than the hurricanes this is a great place to retire. Major Attractions are everywhere and the sun & beaches provide many the chance to get away from the Northern winters or even a bit more. Our favorites in the area include driving to Key West & back ( where one can view the beauty of the Everglades and enjoy the vibrant colors of the Ocean waters. After spending winters in the Ft. Lauderdale , St. Petersburg , Fort Myers areas we have settled in Clearwater where life is a bit slower yet all comforts are available. One of our favorite locations in Florida, is Dunedin , where spring training baseball is available, yet it seems to have a really small town atmosphere that makes you believe that this could be where you wish you were raised.

Not only is Florida home for many of the Baseball Spring Training teams, it has two of their own. Both Miami and the Tampa Bay teams enthrall their fans during the summer monthe.
There is just so much to see and do that we make this state our home away from home.
