Louisiana:
New Orleans is a city one must see, but also the Plantations scattered across the State make interesting excursions and one is able to view past history easily. It is so unfortunate that the State will now be remembered as where "Katrina" struck, as for many visitors and vacationers it was part of our history as "Our Party State".
The drive across the state on Interstate 10 was quite interesting as there were sections of highway that one could see the destructive hurricane damage.
