South Dakota - Driving Interstate 90 from Mitchell to Wall

Drive took place Sept 2, 2004 from 9 am to about 11 am.

John's Comments This drive thru the corn fields surrounding Mitchell shows part of our major food chain, but as one gets closer to Rapid City the land changes to more of open ranges.
John`s Recollections - 2009

An area where farming, especially corn, is the prime industry. Near Mitchell corn is very plentyful but as you near Rapid City crazing crops begin to take over. Land is very flat with the Missouri River providing a scenic break along the Interstate.
