Bryce Canyon National Park - Utah
Walk thru the Hoodoos

Trip Planning logo

This walking pathway (one of many) thru the voodoos is rather strenuous and should not be attempted by many. Read the posted signs to ensure that you are physically able to take the walk. If you are able to then it will be one of your favorites forever. Being up close to the hoodoos and seeing the tremendous size of some of them gives you a different perspective as each of them have their own character.

John`s Recollections - 2009

Was I tired when I finally returned to the top. It was a very difficult trip up with several stops along the way to rest. But it was definitely worth it.
Keep in mind that all trails below the rim involve steep climbs out of the canyon. Wear hiking boots with good traction and ankle support. Drink plenty of water. Know and respect your own physical limitations. If there appears to be a bit of a shake to the video clip during the last section where the climb began up, there actually was as the beartbeat had risen at that time.
