Driving from Bicknell to Arches National Park - Utah

Drive took place Sept 8, 2004 from 9:00 am to about 12:00 noon.

John's Comments Here is a drive that was expected. Most of the roads were very flat and straight as an arrow. The terrain reminded one of what dry desert lands should appear as. Once in a while there were some rock formations but overall it was quite flat. Leaving Bicknell however we did skirt the perimeter of the Capital Reel National Park.

John`s Recollections - 2009

Expected scenery for most of this drive. Sagebrush in a desert type landscape most of the drive. Near Bicknell the Capitol Reef National Park provides a picturesque surrounding.
