Drive took place Sept 8, 2004 from 9:00 am to about 12:00 noon.

John's Comments ASoon after leaving Torrey and past the Capital Reek National Park, the drive took on a look that was expected. Most of the roads were very flat and straight as an arrow. The terrain reminded one of what dry desert lands should appear as. Once in a while there were some rock formations but overall it was quite flat. Leaving Bicknell however we did skirt the perimeter of the Capital Reel National Park.

Expected scenery for most of this drive. Sagebrush in a desert type landscape most of the drive. Near Bicknell the Capitol Reef National Park provides a picturesque surrounding.
