| John's Comments | Found this to be very interesting. Buildings remain quite intact and the historical appearance gave one a look at past era's. Total time spent here was less than 3 hours yet it provided the opportunity to visit all exhibits and buildings at the location. You could almost hear the footsteps of horses and the sounds of the wagons moving westward as you walked the grounds. Many historical features in the fort area made for an interesting excursion. Stopping at the "Canteen" on the way out was not something I remembered of the Wild West as the only beer served was "Root Beer". |
